Description of request

The Division of Neurosurgery, Jos University Teaching Hospital, is located in the beautiful city of Jos. We have a temperate climate and a potential of being a destination of medical tourism. We in need of an endoscopy set, craniotome, C-arm, neurophysiology monitoring, ventilators, ABG machine, monitors, tubular retractor system for microdisectomy, automated haemoanalyzer, chemistry analyser.

We are interested in collaborating with advance centres in order to improve the quality of our patient care. We are in dare need of paediatric and adult neurosurgery ICU protocols in order to improve the quality of care of our patients.

We are interested in clinical and basic science research. We will be glad to have centre who can collaborate in molecular studies with regard to myelomeningocele and other neural tube defects. We are interested in developing a tissue bank. Neuroncological basic science research is also an area of interest.
