Background

Prof Kingsly in a Professor of Neurosurgery from Cameroon. He trained in both Tanzania, The Muhimbili Orthpaedic Institute, Israel, The Rabin Medical Centre, and Cameroon, Presbyterian General Hospital. He holds fellowships at the International College of Surgeons (FICS) and International College of Surgeons and the Neurosurgical Academy of West Central and East Africa (FNSA-WCEA)

Although working as a neurosurgeon, Dr Kingsly also has general surgical skills specifically in cholecystectomy, splenectomy, thyroidectomy, appendicectomy and more. His specific subspecialty interest is Endoscopic Pituitary and Skull Base Surgery. In 2017, he attended a ENT in the Desert: endoscopic sinus and skull base surgery  at the college of medicine, Tucson, part of the University of Arizona.

 

Offer

He is currently offering 3 neurosurgical residencies and 1 fellowship in Cameroon; “I offered 3 places for doctors interested to be fully trained in General Neurosurgery and one place for those who are already neurosurgeons but wish to sub-specialize in neurotrauma.” He says; “Doctors who are from countries with few neurosurgeons such as Sierra Leone, Equitorial Guinea, Liberia, etc, are highly encouraged to consider the offer.”

Certification after training will be offered by the Neurosurgical Academy of West, Central and East Africa (NSAWCEA) of which Prof Kingsly is the Secretary General.
