Event Description

We are delighted to welcome you to the GASOC International Conference 2025! This is a hybrid event held in-person in Glasgow (United Kingdom) and online.

This year’s conference is especially significant as we celebrate 10 years since the founding of GASOC. This coincides with the 10 years of the global surgery movement.

Our theme this year is: "Engage, Empower, Elevate: 10 years of Global Surgery".

We hope, via this event, to reflect on the progress and evolution of the global surgery movement, celebrate achievements and consider the way forward for a more equitable future in global surgery. This conference will bring together passionate advocates, trainees, professionals, and global leaders from across disciplines and continents. Through keynote talks, panel discussions, interactive workshops, and cross-cultural dialogue, we hope to partner with international healthcare professionals to help foster a more equitable, sustainable, and collaborative approach to surgical and anaesthetic care worldwide!
