Description of Offer
The fellowship will cover training expenses to support the fellow in completing their neurosurgical training in their home country. Fellowships will be awarded on the basis of a competitive evaluation by a committee composed of FIENS members. The maximum fellowship stipend is $11,000. Requirements for the applicant:
Confirmation of enrollment in a neurosurgery residency program.
A statement confirming the intent of the applicant to practice in their home country upon the completion their fellowship.
A description of the applicant’s financial need with an explanation of how the funding will allow the applicant to complete their neurosurgical training.
A letter of recommendation from the applicant’s program director confirming the applicant’s success in the program and the need for the funding to allow them to finish the training.
