Description

Academic Training Program, Division of Pediatric Neurosurgery is part of Department of Neurosurgery and strongly affiliated to University Children's Hospital of Tübingen. Covers all aspects of Pediatric Neurosurgery except for complex spine instrumentation. Included in Centre of Neurofibromatosis.

State of the art equipment available including iMRI, laser, intraoperative monitoring, 3D visualization. Special interest in pediatric neurooncology, hydrocephalus including invasive and noninvasive ICP analysis, endoscopy, neurofibromatosis, peripheral nerve surgery, skull base pathology, multimodal monitoring of acute brain insults, diagnostic and intraoperative use of ultrasound. Offers 3 months WFNS-Aesculap Pediatric Neurosurgery Fellowship for developing countries.
