What are the benefits of Help Lightning for surgeons?

Help Lightning uses Merged Reality to blend two real-time video streams – e.g. that of a remote surgical expert and another surgeon that needs help – into a collaborative environment. This Merged Reality allows the expert to virtually reach out and direct real surgical procedures or training.

Description

I am a Nepalese Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeon. I have been trained in Belarus and Italy and worked in several countries. I have also worked as a humanitarian Cardiac surgeon in Sudan and Palestine. I have established and headed for four years a new department of CTVS in the College of Medical Sciences, Teaching Hospital, Bharatpur, Nepal, which gave me significant experience and confidence in administrative and organizational work. At the moment, I am working as a Senior Consultant Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgeon at ADK Hospital Pvt. Ltd., Malè, Republic of Maldives. I am actively involved in developing this new department and managing all sorts of adult cardiac and congenital heart diseases. I am particularly interested in and regularly performing Minimal Invasive Cardiac Surgery. I am also involved in treating thoracic and vascular surgery patients. I am the founding General Secretary of the National Heart and Lung Society of Nepal. I was actively involved in screening and treating Rheumatic Heart disease patients in Nepal from 2014 to 2019. I have also established Heart Fund Nepal, a NGO, to help with the treatment of poor patients needing cardiac surgery.
