World Pediatric Project
Regional hub and organization headquarters for all activity in the Eastern Caribbean. Full-time staff includes program department, medical director, and executive director for the Eastern Caribbean. Regional hub for pediatric surgical activity at Milton Cato Memorial Hospital in Kingstown, St. Vincent - pediatric sub-specialties in St. Vincent include general orthopedic surgery, orthopedic spine surgery, upper-extremity surgery, neurosurgery, craniofacial surgery, plastic surgery, ophthalmology, urology, and general surgery with a minimally invasive training component. Other services include diagnostic cardiology and complimentary surgical services including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy, as well as a NICU training and capacity building program. WPP also works with the biomedical department at Milton Cato Memorial Hospital to support bidirectional training opportunities and product development and adaptation using local resources. Regional hub in St. Vincent supports regular pediatric surgical interventions for children from Anguilla, Antigua & Barbuda, Barbados, Dominica, Grenada, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Lucia, and St. Vincent & the Grenadines. Other regional cases are also accepted as needed from other islands in the Caribbean as well as Guyana and Suriname.
