G4 Alliance Conflicts & Disasters Working Group: Supporting Surgical Care in Humanitarian Settings
September 11, 2026Conflict and disasters place enormous pressure on already stretched health systems, disrupting access to essential surgical, obstetric, trauma and anaesthesia care at precisely the time when these services are most urgently needed. The G4 Alliance Conflicts & Disasters Working Group brings together members of the global surgery community with an interest in improving the coordination, delivery and sustainability of surgical care in conflict-affected and disaster settings. InterSurgeon is pleased to be actively involved in the Working Group and to support opportunities for our members to engage with this important area of global surgery.
