I have a long history of treating children with chronic disabilities of their neuromuscular system including children who have undergone nerve operations such as selective neurectomies and rhizotomies for hypertonia,  or who are being treated with infusion pumps being used for intrathecal Baclofen.  I have developed and manage a multidisciplinary clinic that is currently following over 500 children and adults.  At present this clinic brings in 5-20 new patients a month giving us a wide exposure to conditions in children that lead to abnormal muscle tone.  We are offering assistance on several levels.  Interested persons can come to our site to study our setup and to witness how we manage out patients disabilities, they can observe surgeries by myself and by our orthopedic and urological surgeons and they can see the nonsurgical treatments offered by our Physician Medicine physicians.  I can then travel to areas where similar programs are being established to further train in the evaluation and neurosurgical treatments of children with hypertonia.
