As a highly motivated third year medical student at ZJUISM, which is based in Yiwu, Zhejiang Province, currently transitioning from my pre-clinical studies into my clinical stage, I am actively seeking observerships and assistant roles within Cardiothoracic surgery, ENT surgery, general surgery, urology, neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, and interventional radiology. My ultimate career goal is to become a global surgeon, working at border regions to provide critical, life-saving care to underserved populations, particularly my own people. To achieve this, I am eager to gain practical, hands-on exposure in complex surgical and interventional settings by offering my dedicated assistance to mentors through InterSurgeon.

I am fully available for intensive clinical rotations and assistance during my winter vacations (January and February)and summer vacations (July and August). I am willing to travel anywhere within China to support your practice, and I have a particular interest in collaborating with surgeons and medical organizations from Southeast Asia, not limited to China only, I can travel around ASIA. 

To maximize my contribution to your team, I bring a robust and highly active background in both dry lab and wet lab research.

Leadership & Translational Oncology Research During a dedicated internship at the Center for RNA Medicine at the International Institute of Medicine, Zhejiang University (ZJUIIM), a major focus was placed on the intersection of molecular mechanisms and clinical oncology. Serving as the Team Leader for the project “RNA Biomarker-Driven Multi-Omics Intelligent Prediction for Early Diagnosis, Treatment Response, and Recurrence Risk of NSCLC,” required coordinating interdisciplinary efforts under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sun Qiang. This leadership role involved conceptualizing predictive models for Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer and connecting raw molecular data to potential translational applications. This project ultimately secured the Third Prize in the 2025 China Belt and Road International Undergraduate Medical Innovation Competition during the preliminary institutional selection.

Advanced Wet-Lab Techniques & Nanoparticle Characterization Practical, hands-on laboratory experience forms a strong foundation of your technical skillset. This includes independent execution of E. coli-based cloning and culture procedures, starting from the preparation of LB medium through to plasmid DNA extraction (miniprep) and agarose gel electrophoresis. Proficiency in protein analysis was developed through rigorous Western blotting workflows, specifically managing primary and secondary antibody incubations, TBS washing protocols, and interpreting results via chemiluminescence and fluorescence imaging. Furthermore, experience with targeted therapeutics delivery is demonstrated through the evaluation of LNP-RNA complexes. This involved performing dynamic light scattering (DLS) to precisely determine particle size and surface charge (Zeta potential), aligning with contemporary trends in mRNA and translational medicine. All procedures were underscored by strict adherence to aseptic techniques, cell culture maintenance (passaging, cryopreservation), and laboratory safety.

High-Impact Data Analysis & Systematic Reviews (Dry Lab) Extensive expertise has been built in the design and execution of Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (SRMA), governed by strict PRISMA guidelines and PICO frameworks. This includes end-to-end project management: drafting eligibility criteria, registering protocols on PROSPERO, establishing search strategies across major medical databases, and managing initial screening through Rayyan. Technical proficiency extends to utilizing Review Manager (RevMan 5.4) for complex data analysis, as well as applying the Cochrane RoB 2 and Newcastle-Ottawa scales for rigorous risk of bias and quality assessments. This independent research capability is highlighted by a publication as first and corresponding author on a narrative review exploring the future of nanorobotics in medicine.

Global Conference Presentations & Academic Dissemination A defining characteristic of your recent academic career is the rapid acceptance of abstracts to premier, global medical conferences, representing Zhejiang University on international stages.

• AAIC 2026 (Alzheimer’s Association International Conference, London): Contributed heavily to a Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis by managing the primary and secondary full-text screening, as well as executing the final data extraction. This research is slated for publication in Alzheimer’s & Dementia (Impact Factor: 11.1).

• ASCO 2026 (American Society of Clinical Oncology Annual Meeting): Expanded methodological skillset by taking on primary data analysis responsibilities, working closely with a research team to synthesize complex oncological data, resulting in an online publication.

• ENDO 2026 (Chicago, IL): Secured a poster presentation by leading the crucial primary screening phases and directly authoring the methodology section for the accepted SRMA.
