Description of request
I would basically appreciate any form of assistance; as i am just establishing a neurosurgery service in an area where the service was non existent before. Both material and educational assistance would be highly desirable.since there is a plan to start neurosurgery training .
It has been only two months since i came to the area but the case variety even in NTD cases and spinal injuries is much.To treat common cases like Hydrocephalus is limited to shunting and even for that there is no continuous supply.I am expecting Intraoperative C_arm Fluoroscope, Neuroendoscope and operating microscope to be made available to me soon from the regional health bureau.
I do not have access to any other intraoperative monitoring devices or guidance system.
My diagnostic capability is also limited to only CT SCAN and even EEG is not available Currently.
Right now I do not have also power drill and most of my procedures are limited to doing Trauma cases and operating on NTDs.
Am very much interested to do both clinical and laboratory researches . But for the moment the facility allows me to do only clinical researches and also with that regard my experience is not much so i need assistance.
