Neurosurgeon from large public teaching hospital in the capital Addis Ababa ,Ethiopia requesting for collaboration in training,patient care, and research.
Am neurosurgeon with interest in skullbase, vascular and pituitary surgery. Am working in large public teaching hospital in the capital where pediatrics, trauma, oncology and spine neurosurgery services are being delivered. Our unit works in collaboration with ENT, maxillofacial,plastic and reconstructive units in it’s care of patients with complex neurosurgical diseases.
But our unit is Very humble in terms of neurosurgical instruments where we lack operating microscope, and micro surgical sets. So we use loupe for operation. We also don’t have c-arm but we do laminectomies for discs diseases and free hand fixations for spine injuries.
I would be grateful if i could get this instruments and training opportunities wethere in the form of training,observerships or exchange programs
