Description of request

I’m a junior doctor from Sudan currently in a clinical gap due to the war. I’ve completed MRCS and stayed active through online learning. I’m preparing for ST3 in general or plastic surgery and would be grateful for any remote training or mentorship opportunity during this time.

Dear InterSurgeon / Ohana One Team,

I am a junior doctor from Sudan with a strong interest in general and plastic surgery. Due to the ongoing war in my country, I am currently experiencing a clinical gap and unable to practice in a hospital setting.

Despite these challenges, I have remained active by attending online surgical courses, webinars, and international conferences to stay up-to-date. I have also successfully completed both parts of the MRCS exam.

I am now preparing to work temporarily in the Gulf region and ultimately planning to apply for ST3 training in the UK. I would be truly grateful for any opportunity to engage in remote surgical training or mentorship during this period, so I can make productive use of my time and continue building my skills.

Thank you very much for considering my request.

Kind regards,

Shima Alsheikh
