It is with a very heavy heart that we announce the passing of Mr William Harkness, co-founder and guiding inspiration for InterSurgeon. In addition to being an internationally respected and loved paediatric neurosurgeon, he was a passionate educator and advocate for global surgery. His vision, tireless work, and personal commitment to InterSurgeon have created a strong foundation for virtually connecting the global surgery community and improving collaboration worldwide. He will be dearly missed, and his life will serve as a shining example of all that is possible when we work together.
