InterSurgeon have been contact by Alizeh Abbas, Chair of the American Journal of Surgery Student and Resident Scholar Committee. As part of their “Roses and Thorns of Academic Surgery” virtual webinar series, they are organizing an online talk by Dr. Kwakye at Michigan on Monday, 28th April 2025. She has had an impressive journey in academic global surgery from being the Assistant Dean of Clinical Medical Education to helping establish a colorectal surgery fellowship in Ghana.
