Description of offer
I am an adult and pediatric cardiothoracic surgeon with experience in academics, clinical surgery/medicine, neonatal surgery/medicine, research, education (at all levels), and administration and want to help to develop cardiothoracic surgery programs.
My training is extensive and includes adult, pediatric, and neonatal cardiothoracic surgery at basic to complex levels. As a clinician, I practice bedside medicine and operate. My experience in the adult, pediatric, and neonatal ICU’s is extensive. I am an educator and taught physiology, biochemistry, anatomy, advanced anatomy, and clinical introduction at Harvard Medical School, have taught residents/fellows/faculty/staff/nursing at all levels, have continued to be a teaching surgeon, and have developed curriculum. Research has included both basic science and clinical protocols. I have been involved with multiple teaching programs in cardiothoracic surgery, pediatrics, and general surgery and am helping to develop international programs. I have extensive experience in supervising trainees and in teaching new skill sets at all levels.
