Description
St. Christopher's Hospital for Children is a multidisciplinay, academic, intercity hospital in Philadelphia that serves a large population of the disadvantaged children in Philadelphia. All specialties are represented. Our affiliations with other various academic institues in the city and state allow us to care for not only the usual childhood problems, but the rarer illnesses/disease processes as well. Our services extend to young adults before transitioning these patients to adult providers.
We are a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center and have a Level III NICU. Our pediatric residency program is highly sought and most graduates have been accepted in subspecialty programs at high level University programs. We have one of the few pediatric dental residencies in the United States. Our fellowships in neonatology and critical care are highly sought as well.
