With a lot of support from Alabama children's hospital, Dr Rocque, Dr Pong, Mr Trei , our center has built up an epilepsy team for around 10 years. I think in Vietnam, our team is one of the most complete teams in epilepsy surgery.

You know, epilepsy surgery is complex group surgery not only in developing countries but also in developed countries like the US and western countries. They require good teamwork and also a long training time in practicing for every member of the team.. Many members in our team had trained in Alabama Children’s hospital, and discussed online if we have new problems that need to be solved. So that, now, we can perform ECOG, SSEP intra operative in focal epilepsy cases. A couple of weeks ago, Dr Brandon and the Epilepsy team of Alabama children’s hospital came to our center to help us perform two subdural and depth electrode cases, and both two patients have favorable outcomes. I think hands-on training for our all team is a great way to develop new procedures.
