I am a fellowship trained neurosurgeon practicing both adult and pediatric neurosurgery, affiliated with Queen's University and the Kingston Health Sciences Centre in Kingston, Ontario. All aspects of neurosurgery including including neuro-oncology, hydrocephalus and neuroendoscopy, trauma, epilepsy, functional, vascular, and spine are provided at our centre. Our pediatric program is developing in many of these areas. We are fully supported by multidisciplinary specialties including Pediatric and Neonatal Critical Care, Adult Critical Care, Pediatric and Adult Oncology, Pediatric and Adult Neurology, Neuropathology, Neuroradiology, Pediatrics, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Genetics, Hematology and Maxillofacial teams. I have an active clinical interests in epilepsy and neuro-endoscopy, as well as research interest in medical education and global surgery. I am a Medical Education Scholar at Queen's University with an active program of research in multiple areas of medical education, surgical simulation, and global surgical capacity development. I support students seeking clinical and research-oriented electives, as well as graduate studies (Masters, PhD) in medical and surgical education, and global surgery.
