Description
Dr.Hesham Soliman, is a Board-eligible US trained Neurosurgeon. After graduating Medical School (Ain Shams University) in Cairo, Egypt, he went through Neurosurgery residency training at the University of Kansas, and underwent specialized fellowship training in complex spine surgery, pain, spine oncology, radiosurgery and spine reconstruction at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Cleveland Clinic, and Brown. He joined the MCW faculty as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Neurosurgery. He is currently the Director of Spine Oncology and Associate Director for the Complex Spine Fellowship program. He has contributed to many book chapters, and peer reviewed publications, and serves on many committees in multiple national Neurosurgery/Spine Societies.
Special interests in addition to Spine Oncology, include Global Neurosurgery and Mentorship for Minority Neurosurgeons in the US. Outside of work, he is interested in International travel, Hiking, Archeology and Soccer.
